Zinn Construction has been building custom homes in Springfield, Sherman and surrounding areas since 2003. Small enough to be accessible, yet large enough to handle whatever the project may be, the experts at Zinn Construction provide the direct oversight necessary for the creation of a truly outstanding project.
While Zinn started as a new construction homebuilder, they have expanded their offerings into remodeling and outdoor living spaces as well. You will work with project managers, Phil Zinn, Greg Burgener, and Dan Gleason to make your vision a reality.
Phil Zinn is the owner of the company and a Sherman, IL resident. He has a degree from Eastern Illinois University in Industrial Technology Education with a minor in Architectural drafting and design. He has worked in residential construction since 1996, and is involved in every aspect of a Zinn project. Phil has assembled a talented staff of 10+ employees who complete the framing and finish work on every new home, remodel or deck project. The Zinn team has captured multiple “People’s Choice” Awards and won “Builder of the Year” twice from the Springfield Area Home Builders Association.
Greg Burgener is a project manager at Zinn Construction and has a Construction Management degree from Western Illinois University. He started with Zinn Construction in 2015 after a 18 year tenure at S.A. Lewis Construction Co. of Mt. Zion, Illinois. Whether your project is big or small, he has seen it and has the experience to make it happen in a timely fashion. Greg was also awarded with the 2017, Springfield Area Homebuilder Association, “Builder of the Year” award for his hard work and dedication to the industry.
Dan Gleason is the newest project manager at Zinn Construction and has a Construction Management degree from Illinois State University. He brings youth, enthusiasm, and a knack for layout and design work. He started in St. Louis working for a contractor that specialized in outdoor living spaces. He brought those talents he learned there to central Illinois. If you have trouble visualizing the finished concept or product, Dan is your guy. He can bring your vision to life by making 3D, color, drawings of your project that eliminate the guess work out of how the finished product will turn out.
Whether you deal with Phil, Greg, Dan or one our talented carpenter/painters, you will find that we take pride in providing courteous, reliable, skillful craftsmanship.
